Internship for MSW Students
Mission
Our mission for the next five years is to provide internships to 100 MSW Students, thereby enrolling 2000 people in weaker sections in Government Welfare Schemes.
The average target is internship for 20 students per year, thereby enrolling 400 people in Government Welfare Schemes per year.
We believe that it is desirable for students pursuing degrees and diplomas in Socia Work; to see, experience, & understand firsthand the ground reality of the weaker sections of society.
Action Research Framework
To facilitate the above, we engage them in result-oriented socio-economic surveys (Action Research Framework, to be precise) where they can
- Reflect: Assess the socio-economic conditions of weaker sections of society
- Plan: Specifically, assess their coverage under applicableĀ Government Welfare Schemes
- Act: Recommend to Government authorities to extend the coverage wherever a gap is found. Better still, wherever feasible, help them to available Government Welfare Schemes
- Observe: Assess the success of Action
